At last the album Uppsala Stadshotell Brinner is out.
This is the first complete and official release of Rävjunk´s entire 1976 - 1977 repertoire.
We are very proud of the records on cd 1 you have the original album for the the first time remastered for cd. Plus "naturbarn" as a bonus song.
The A-side delivers an impressive edifice of very raw punk rock and hard rock, mixed with some bluesy scales and progressive moves. The heavy drone excursions on the flipside sound definitely much more Teutonic with obvious kraut rock allusions. Several influences are evident, but it's all blended into something unique as each member brought their own intriguing ingredients into the music. Guitarist The Road Grader was a Hendrix freak and singer Gilberth was deeply involved in the new punk rock movement. Bassist Wilhelm was very much into Jack Bruce and Cream, whileUncle the drummer was an avid fan of German bands such as CAN and Guru Guru.
The second cd contains recently discovered demo recordings and long lost live tapes.Enjoy!!!
